Downer EDI, as part of the Evolution Rail consortium to deliver 65 new high capacity metro trains for the Melbourne Metro network from 2019, has engaged the support of SYSTRA Scott Lister to provide Safety Assurance and Systems Engineering support. In this supporting role, SYSTRA Scott Lister will facilitate Hazard Logs and Preliminary Hazard Analysis workshops for both train and Depot and conduct a review of key SDR documentation for the Depot. The support will continue through to the PDR gateway. Whilst collaborating with the HCMT Train Design Manager, SYSTRA Scott Lister will also work alongside the Train Systems Lead to deliver the HCMT sub-system SDR technical packages.

This is an integral part of SYSTRA Scott Lister’s core service offering. In recent times, the organisation’s Safety Assurance and Systems Engineering department has flourished due to significant hires and subsequently increased project wins globally.
